As part of its commitment to continual improvement, Christchurch’s St Margaret’s College regularly engages with its parent community to discern levels of satisfaction and areas for further development. To streamline this process out of respect for the time constraints on busy families, the College engaged Global Research to create an efficient yet meaningful survey on the education St. Margaret’s College is providing to students, as perceived by their parents.
Global Research was contracted by the City of Melbourne (CoM) to undertake analysis and reporting on ten neighbourhood community engagement projects.
For the sunny weekend of 18-19 of March 2023, Christchurch hosted the inaugural ITM New Zealand SailGP as a leg of the international league. In Whakaraupō/Lyttleton Harbour, crowds gathered from across Aotearoa and overseas to watch hydrofoiling F50 catamarans from nine different countries race, approaching speeds of 100km/h.
Wellington City Council made the decision to demolish the earthquake prone underground carpark in the south-west corner of Frank Kitts Park. The Fale Malae Trust is proposing to build a Fale Malae which would, subject to landowner approval and resource consent, replace the car park structure with a smaller footprint and include multi-purpose spaces with Pasifika inspired architecture, as well as public facilities and a café.

Sport Canterbury sought to examine the leisure time preferences of a wide range of young people in Canterbury with a view to understanding how and why more young people might be engaged in higher levels of physically active leisure-time activities.
“The $107.5mil Better Business Case for the rebuild of our scientific facilities was a critical milestone in the restoration of the University following the Canterbury earthquakes. It comes at a time when we look to increase our contribution to New Zealand’s land based industries through establishing the Lincoln Hub. Patrick was part of the multi-disciplinary expert team which prepared our business case. This case was rated one of the best ever received by Government. He delivered a broad range of contributions in research, analysis, coordination and writing, which he adapted to the changing needs of the project. Patrick’s contribution significantly contributed to the success of our case.”
